International Policy

The objective of the UPL Community is to increase its visibility and international attractiveness and to position ourselves more prominently in the European Higher Education landscape. This increased prominence will enable us to be more successful in our international mobility projects, particularly in terms of internships, as well as further attracting international researchers and post-doctoral students.

To achieve this objective, it is first necessary to identify our expectations and goals, as well as to work collaboratively with the existing services of both Paris 8 and Paris Ouest, as well as the other members of the UPL Community.

As part of the international policy of the UPL Community, the following measures will be implemented:

To reinforce our European status

To identify and to respond to European invitations to tender

To negotiate double degree conventions and off-campus programmes

To increase international mobility and internship figures

Activation of a network of private and public partners, and negotiation of internships

Validation of prior learning, activation of academic network, negotiation of double degree conventions and off-campus programmes.

To increase our attractiveness to researchers

To launch UPL appeals for candidates for international grants and chairs

To define a services package for the welcome of teacher-researchers
